Mathematics Bridging Course

The Department of Mathematics offers students the opportunity to review key topics from secondary‑school mathematics before the start of the winter semester. Students will be required to complete a mathematics course during their studies at the Prague University of Economics and Business, so it is essential to have a solid foundation to build upon.

The aim of the Mathematics Bridging Course is to revise and, above all, clarify fundamental mathematical concepts and procedures. The instruction will focus mainly on graphs and properties of elementary functions, graphs of conic sections, algebraic manipulations, rules for calculations with powers and roots, logarithmic operations, and solving various types of equations, inequalities, and systems of linear and nonlinear equations.

The course is available in online form.
